A woman is standing outdoors on a sunny day, raising her arms with her hands in a relaxed pose. She is wearing a white top and a black skirt, with rocks or boulders behind her in the background.

I am a trauma survivor and a trained mental health therapist. It is my life’s work to help others find their way to safety, freedom, and self-trust.

Infidelity, deception, or long-term emotional abuse don’t define who you are. Learn how to break free from the impacts of betrayal trauma and emotional abuse and live with more freedom, safety, and self-trust.

Clients come to me when:

They are unsure how to move forward after their boundaries were breached by someone they trusted.

They are questioning their worth.

Rumination and self-doubt are standing in the way of the life they want for themselves.

They want to live fully in their values without fear.

How betrayal trauma and emotional abuse therapy with me works

When trust has been shattered through infidelity, deception, or emotional abuse, we can start to question ourselves and our worth.

Threshold Counseling is a space to unpack the experience of betrayal trauma and emotional abuse so that you can find solid footing to rebuild. Through this process, you will move toward a life rooted in safety, freedom, and self-trust.

“In the body of the world, they say, there is a soul
and you are that.”

Getting Started with Therapy

1. Schedule a Consultation

I’ll ask you a little about your goals, and you’ll have a chance to ask me about my approach, process, and any other questions you have. There’s no cost, and obligation to move forward. This is where we feel each other out. Most consults are over a secure virtual connection, but in-person consultations are also available.

2. Intake Session

If we agree to work together, we will schedule a 90-minute intake session. This is so that I can get a deeper sense of your history, strengths, and challenges. We’ll work together to tailor a treatment plan just for you that addresses your goals. We’ll also determine a time and cadence for therapy sessions.

3. Therapy Sessions

Therapy takes place at a pace that is comfortable for you and based on your treatment plan. Most clients meet for 60 minutes once per week or biweekly. Therapy can be brief and solution-focused or tailored for more long-term growth and support. I also offer extended EMDR intensives for people who feel ready for intensive work.
