A woman is standing outdoors on a sunny day, raising her arms with her hands in a relaxed pose. She is wearing a white top and a black skirt, with rocks or boulders behind her in the background.

I am a trauma survivor and a trained EMDR therapist. It is my life’s work to help others find their way to safety, freedom, and self-trust.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an evidence-based treatment. It is effective in reprocessing painful experiences so that you can live your life with more freedom, safety, and self-trust.

Clients come to me when:

They are tired of living in survival mode.

They want to stop feeling retraumatized or triggered by everyday encounters.

Rumination and self-doubt are standing in the way of the life they want for themselves.

They feel guilt or shame about adverse experiences.

Their story is difficult to look at, but they’re ready to move forward with the healing process.

They want to live with more freedom, safety, and self-trust.

How EMDR therapy with me works

Trauma can result in constant rumination, self-doubt, and confusion about adverse experiences.

EMDR therapy helps the brain process those experiences and find clarity. Many people find a sense of meaning and purpose after processing painful experiences that have been stuck for a long time.

Through an integrative approach that blends EMDR with other evidence-based modalities, my goal is to help you move toward a life rooted in safety, freedom, and self-trust.

“Out beyond the ideas of rightdoing and wrongdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.”

Getting Started with Therapy

1. Schedule a Consultation

I’ll ask you a little about your goals, and you’ll have a chance to ask me about my approach, process, and any other questions you have. There’s no cost, and obligation to move forward. This is where we feel each other out. Most consults are over a secure virtual connection, but in-person consultations are also available.

2. Intake Session

If we agree to work together, we will schedule a 90-minute intake session. This is so that I can get a deeper sense of your history, strengths, and challenges. We’ll work together to tailor a treatment plan just for you that addresses your goals. We’ll also determine a time and cadence for therapy sessions.

3. Therapy Sessions

Therapy takes place at a pace that is comfortable for you and based on your treatment plan. Most clients meet for 60 minutes once per week or biweekly. Therapy can be brief and solution-focused or tailored for more long-term growth and support. I also offer extended EMDR intensives for people who feel ready for intensive work.
